Breast Uplift Surgery (Mastopexy)

Numerous factors such as the normal aging process, pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight loss and hereditary factors can all affect the firmness and shape of the breasts. Increasing and subsequent shrinkage of the breast volume can cause loss of skin elasticity which can in turn result in loss of pertness and sagging or droopy breasts.

A mastopexy, or Breast uplift surgery, raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin, tightening the surrounding breast tissue, and repositioning the nipple to the correct higher level, in order to achieve a more youthful, firmer shape. It can be carried out in conjunction with a Breast Augmentation in order to add volume to the breasts as well as lift them.
