Reconstructive Surgery

Davood Fallahdar has extensive Consultant level experience in both Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery spans a period of over 15 years. He works closely with highly skilled multidisciplinary teams and undertakes a wide range of state- of-the-art Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with special interests in Head Reconstruction, Neck Reconstruction and Breast Reconstruction as well as skin cancer. His prime focus is on achieving optimal function and aesthetics in order to improve his patients’ quality of life. In 2006, Mr. Fallahdar was awarded special recognition for Excellence in Microsurgery by the renowned National Cancer Institute in Milan and, in the same year he completed his third speciality, Certificate of Specialty in ORL (ENT/ Head and Neck Surgery). He has published numerous papers in peer reviewed literature, and, in addition, he has been involved in research into the Surgical Reconstruction of Human Morphology at the University of Milan. He has also held Consultant appointments at Addenbrooke's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, and the National Cancer Institute, Milan.

From 2007-2009 Mr Fallahdar held the Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon post at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where he formed part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, undertaking a wide range of state-of-the-art Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Microsurgery.
